FWIW, my sister sent me the names of some other restaurants in the Palo Alto area that might be more upmarket than Piatti's (although I've been to Piatti's and I think it is very nice; plus, they have a private room with a capacity of about 20 that we might be able to use): Spago's, Chantilly's, and Wild Hare are three she mentioned. I was just thinking that in light of today's blowout we might want to throw a bit more cash at the meeting -- just a thought. In fact, maybe one of you Northern Californians could make a few calls and find out some menu details, etc.
