Re: Why don't you add up all the dividends from those shares over the past 8 years, and compute their COMPOUNDED value - assuming they were "invested" and returned a yearly rate of about 40% !!!! You stated you liquidated no position to buy AMD shares and that you paid for AMD with cash. How exactly do you "invest" cash at 40%? I believe you claim to have acquired your AMD shares at ~16 5/8 or whatever it was through your dividend, so your eight year compounding statement is contradictory.
