No, no, no. When a Roman army didn't perform up to Roman standards they would kill 10% of their own troops. I also heard that it was
sometimes a policy that the troops had to pick who died and then stone their friends to death. But I'm not 100% sure of that point. In any
event, no one disappointed the Romans more than once.
