I read that it was one chip, one semiconductor that was needed in order to ship the products. That's all that was holding up shipments.

Do you have the URL of the article that said this?

This USED to be the reason that companies would not design boxes with sole source supplies. As more companies outsource all their semiconductor fabrication, I wonder that this can become a more common problem and we'll get more companies buying into fabs to guarantee their supplies of critical components?
