i find mcmillan a bit too deep for beginners, i tend to use it more as a reference book.

you may want to get roth "leaps", as i mentioned to clappy it's a light, easy read, and gives you all that mcmillan offers less vector analysis! it outlines strategies with examples and does so with a bit of humor!

good luck...just remain conservative, and keep to simple strategies....remember what pal(paul) says...."the crumbs add up".....
