It would appear that there has been no interference in bilogical evolution for the last 4 billion years.

In general I don't know what caused the big bang and that could have been an experiment or part of a manufacturing process of some being much greater than me. The ability to predict the outcome over the timespan is what is lacking (unless the universe is deterministic which in the long run is the same as nihlism). I can't rule out that the first cells weren't seeded by space aliens or something, but there would be no possibility for the alien to determine that those cells would eventually evolve into something intelligent, much less humans. It's inconsistant with chaos and uncertainty and only possible with determinism, in which case all is fate.
