>Anyone take issue with that claim?<
Seems like the manufacturers sometimes make that claim, but I'm not sure how true it is.
Personally, I've bought 3 CF cards, and the one I've had problems with has the SanDisk label on it(!). The card reader I have can't deal with it half the time, and I've lost two sets of pictures to what I'd call "card crashes." The first time, I seemed to have no choice but to "reformat" the card with the camera; but then it happened again. It may just be card/reader incompatibility (though the other cards work no problem.
Anyway, now I'm going to try to exchange the card at Staples (bought over a month ago). However, I'm still unsure whether there truly are compatibility issues or not. (I have a CoolPix 800, BTW).
Thoughts welcome.
I wanted to add also that the lack of an internet replay of the CC is unbelievable. IMO the lack of an attempt to raise the company's profile is a huge disservice to shareholders. IMO someone at the company's not doing their job.
Aus, YOU should be on the payroll.
Right now it seems that SNDK is off the radar of the big players, and completely unknown to the retail investor.
Note also that the WP article to which I posted a link, though mentioning the CF manufacturers, made no mention of SNDK's IP. It was just another (quickly forgotten) name on a list.
