Jeez. I bet you feel better know. That was a lot of very valuable venting. And you owe the entire experience to Debeers for bringing this thing to a head. Without moralizing over Debeer's history I think we all will all be winners as a result of this bid. The market is not (and it is usually right) so far telling me that Debeers offering is nothing more than a stink bid. If it is as far off as your numbers suggest it will have to be adjusted upward, or some one else will step up. The fact remains however, they have moved this simmering pot off the backburner and now the heat is being applied. The shareholders are going to win. The only question that matters to me is, how big?
