First, I am not talking about corrections, I am talking about things that will happen, but can happen in this or that way due to random factors. For example, I have no option but to fall if a ladder is knocked from under me, but a butterfly in the Amazon might have a slight effect on my trajectory. Second, if there were such a thing as special providence, there would be no reason for God to use force when fiat would do to accomplish the correction. Third, even supposing that there were a "nudge" effect, it might be diffuse over time, a sort of constant small pressure on circumstance, and therefore "below radar"...........
