ACTM, SRTI, STLW, FDRY and others . . .
ACTM - No idea why this one has sold off today, other than it looked like there was a relentless big seller this AM who just wanted out. I can't find a list of ACTM's customers (as most know, they are a contract manufacturer), but I am wondering if they, or Bull Elec, who they are acquiring did work for some of the folks who warned or posted disappointing earnings. I got stopped out of my shares today at 45 - If you recall, I brought ACTM to the board around $30. I'll keep an eye on it, and may look to reenter once I can find more reason for todays drop
SRTI - Still acting mighty strong - I am out of this one today at $57 given the overall market weakness - but will look to buy back on weakness - as I think it will continue to move
STLW - If STLW can break thru the 50 - 53 range, things will look quite good. However, there is a lot of overhang from folks who jumped in on this recent IPO near its opening price in the low 50's - so may get stalled a bit while they happily sell out at breakeven - but on a valuation basis, should continue to run once it breaks thru this overhead.
FDRY - nice opportunity today to establish a position after a big post-earnings sell-off - I am in in the 80's
Seems to me almost everything, with very rare exceptions is selling off after earnings - but then restabilizing 1 to 3 days later - so if this pattern holds, could be some nice opportunities to pick up ANAD, AMD, ZRAN, ATML among others for a swing trade next Monday or Tuesday.
All just my humble opinion |
