I basically remember watching Tonto at work with the GIFS and RMIL scams. He and such former SI members Mike Kugler (who's presence is sorely missed) were incredible investigators and obtained an incredible amount of background info on the players involved in those scams.

I give Janice serious credit though... She has become a legend on SI, as well as Raging Bull and it was heartening to see one of our collective nemisis' finally get sued for a million dollars by one of the people he libeled and slandered. Of course, I refer to "Pugs"... :0)

All around, it is a tough choice to have to make. I certainly have a problem with nominating the aggressive short-sellers, although some of their investigative diligence has been impeccable. I prefer to nominate someone who is taking the role of naysayer, enduring incredible abuse from the hypsters, all in the name of trying to maintain a semblance of credibility in the micro-cap markets.

Tonto, Janice, and Jeffrey fill all of those criteria, IMO.
