Bellsouth, Sprint, Teleglobe, Nuera, and World Access Key Elements in New Talk Visual Network

MIAMI, Florida--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 21, 2000--(OTC-BB:TVCP). TALK VISUAL CORPORATION announced today major progress in its network build out, including the selection of key vendors. The build out includes equipment and telecom facilities. It enables Talk Visual to provide international telephone services and videocalls at competitive rates over highly reliable circuits using quality telecom equipment.

"We're pleased and excited about the selection of these quality vendors," said Company President and CEO Eugene A. Rosov. "Building a new network is a complex project. Our core negotiations about quality of service, service delivery, pricing and timing are now complete, and we'll shortly run highly cost-effective phone and videocalls from our shops in Brussels, London, New York, Miami and virtually any major city on the planet into our new switch on Biscayne Boulevard, Miami Florida.

Mr. Rosov went on to explain that the network build out consists of four key elements. Local exchange carrier access for Bellsouth provides ISDN and analog services to the Company under a contract announced earlier this week. Sprint and Teleglobe are facilitating interexchange carrier provisioning for domestic and international videocalls. Digital network origination and termination equipment will be provided by Nuera, integrated with World Access's NACT switching systems.

"We are especially pleased to be working with both Sprint and Teleglobe," said Mr. Rosov. "Through our relationship with Yak Communications, we're provisioning Teleglobe facilities here in Miami, which will allow us to provide all of our domestic and international locations with exceptionally competitive pricing. Sprint's ISDN service quality has proved to be first-rate. We're now transporting ISDN and IP videocalls worldwide through our RADVision equipment. And recently we installed a Madge Corporation ISDN switch, which enables us to least-cost-route our international videocalls - a truly fantastic capability. This is of major importance to our domestic and international videocall partners, as we offer them the ability to participate in the excellent global videocall rates we're now enjoying."

According to the Company's Chief Technical Officer, Pedro Sanchez, "the choice of Nuera for our Voice-over-IP and frame-relay network is exciting to all of us. We chose Nuera's ORCA GX-21product because in a recent competition they beat Cisco and Clarent on a number of key performance measures. Installation of their state-of-the-art digital equipment lets us transport calls reliably worldwide - and control our carrier costs with central management. All of our videocalls and voice-calls will go through our Miami facility. We're now rapidly building our network facilities around the world, with top-quality providers."

The Company's Chairman, Michael J. Zwebner, said today "I'm proud of the technical team headed up by Pedro Sanchez, and the rapid progress they've made in negotiating effective relationships with first-rank providers. We have a quality network of local and international telecom facilities, equipment and technical management. This will allow us to deliver extraordinary low-cost rates to our voice and videocall partners."

The Company announced today that it now has over 550 domestic and international partners participating in its videocall network, providing business and consumer clients with low-cost videocalls. These partners are in addition to the Sprint and MIVNET videocall locations, accessible through the RADVision bridging system at Talk Visual headquarters. According to Mr. Rosov, "approximately 200 of these new partners are domestic, and 350 are abroad. Many of them have agreed to participate in our three-part program: One: low-cost bridging of ISDN and IP calls at $0.99 per minute; Two: international videocall wholesale rates under $1.00 per minute; and Three: non-Talk Visual room fees - terminating room fees - at $1.00 or less per minute. We anticipate the cost of a twenty-minute domestic videocall averaging under $100 and an international videocall averaging about $150. This may well revolutionize the videocall marketplace, where today the average international one-hour videocall costs $900."

In other news today, the Company announced that the usual weekly Chairman's Corner will not be published this week due to the upcoming Annual General Meeting and its related preparations.
