Have anybody's PI efforts ever gotten Silicon Investor mentioned by name in national media? This post Message 7277114 began an investigation in the "Micron Only" thread. The results led to this NY Times article nytimes.com I nominate Dave Gahm for his work in proving that Micron Technology lied in one of their quarterly reports. A corollary of the investigation was that semiconductor analyst Dan Niles was forced to admit to the Times that he doesn't actually read the quarterly reports of the companies he supposedly researches.
