Well, franchises are more reliable than purely independent ventures, and everyone needs gas, bread, and milk. Plus, families merge their capital and provide jobs for the clan. Of course, the Asians frequently do things no American, black or white, would be willing to do, like work 12 hour shifts, or defer salary for a stake in the business, to further capitalize. Anyway, there is a great deal of racial animosity brewing among some of these groups against blacks and Hispanics, because of street crime and gang activity. As with the Koreans in New York and LA, the potential for inter-racial violence is often great........
