Well, I know this don't mean much......but if it is multiplied by ten million maybe it will. I have been putting off upgrading our tv service from old, regular cable to digital AT&T, even though it has been offered for some time. Last night I didn't have the newspaper around so I punched in "channel 99", the "scrolling guide". Holy cow! A guy could die and decompose before that stupid thing rolls around one time! So, for all the wrong reasons <g>, I ordered digital cable today. I have been spoiled by the starsight guide we have through Directv at our summer home. Now I can't accept anything less than quick find, quick sort, one punch selection. Digital cable is the choice. After a week I will probably wonder how I survived without it. It is amazing how spoiled we all become with today's efficiencies vs. what we gladly settled for a few years ago! Unc, salmon are running up here. going out Sunday to see if I can hook one. Pomp.
