We need another nomination.

I suggest Pearl Harbor Day - December 7th, because we've been bombed, or Christmass Day December 25th, because we could use a present. I don't think anything sooner would work. There is going to be a lot of tax related selling from the end of September through November and I can't think of any good news that The Street would believe or wouldn't discount that could come out.

I'm thinking of buying replacement shares when the stock hits rock bottom during the tax selling season and selling my original shares 31 days later to harvest the loss for tax reasons and still retain a position a lower cost.

Even December may be too soon. Perhaps April 1, 2001, Fool's Day should be used. I think I saw one this morning staring back at me in my shaving mirror.
