Here is my two cents on RDRAM. I have had my new Dell almost a week, and I am not impressed.

My old Dell, a P2 450 with 128 MB SDRAM and a Rage Fury 32 MB video card, was very quick.

My new Dell P3 800, with 128 MB RDRAM with a 32MB DDR video card is only about 50% faster than a two year old obsolete system. Oh, it was 3300 bucks too, no monitor, just the box.

I wish I would have put the extra $$$ into a P3 933 with 256 MB SDRAM.

This is the first Dell I owned that I am not happy with. I think RDRAM is over rated.
