To All: If you got the Silicon Investor Choice Awards announcement. I got kind of curious about it and decided to see if anyone I knew (like say me) got an award. So I went over to Tucows, www.tucows.com and got the software I needed to hack into their information about it.
Here are the Investor Choice Awards:
Most Idiotic Poster: [Fierce competion here.]
Spider Valdez aka Pugs for his losing $1 million because he didn't contest a judgement and then having to pay it because he broke the agreement he made not to attack the guy anymore.
Most Moronic (beloved category): SJB the classic moron. Told Janice Shell she was male and then bemoaned her lack of femininity for her, telling her she would never get the pleasures of menstruation. He has been booted but those he attacked the most still want him back.
Most Moronic (reviled category): Chris Land aka Bishop Land. His 'Christian' attacks on Edwarda after her death secured him this one.
Most Attacked [Another tough one, Mr. Pink, A&P, Auric Goldfinger, and Tokyo Joe all were strong here.] Winner Janice Shell. Served her right for going over to the BB threads and telling them the truth. Later after her attackers saw she had been right, they really went after her.
Most Disgusting [Tough category, SI tends to boot the offenders] Winner Tokyo Joe. His ongoing attacks on his own followers, self serving picks, front running, and SEC charges did it for him.
Most Disgusting Single Act: Chris Land for attacking Edwarda.
Richest Poster: Mr. Pink [This is not certain, but the feeling was anyone who picks like he does, is the richest.]
Poster You Would Most Like To Be Alone With [I thought our own Peach and Sherry would carry the day here but sadly no.] Mr. Pink (See above award)
Most Beguiling Poster Sherry Fox. Our own Sherry [A very appropriate award, I can attest to her qualities myself, I will never forget her leaning over almost breathless saying to me "Druss, sit back and relax now, you look stressed." Beguiling and a touch of ESP, I was stressed or at least I was later, after I discovered she had lifted my wallet.]
Most Trusted Poster: Grevious Angel [Our own Lee, a well deserved award, you place an order with him for anything and he will deliver, whether it is for moonshine or Arkansas Wacky Weed.]
Favorite Poster: SI Bob [Kind of an upset here but I am not asking for a recount.]
Best Prediction: Tie 82 posters all of them short on Zitel, "This dog is eventually going to dig a crater."
Worst Prediction: Tie 78 posters all of them short on Amazon, "This dog is eventually going to dig a crater."
Worst Talk Threads: [A close race here.] Yahoo barely edges out Raging Bull.
Best ID Name: Tie, Hraka, and Tastes Like Chicken, Bald Man From Mars. [For those not up on the Hraka ID read Watership Down.]
Best Fights: AZNT thread. Half the posters there got booted and the other half did time in SI jail.
