The stock promoters and touters have gone to newer ways of getting followers. I should know I used to own the web site www.otcbbstock.com

I was in with many of the worst of the bunch. I have been offered enormous $$$ to promote stocks. I sold my url rather than to get involved. Some of these people use new aliases, some have taken it to a level where it looks like true pr firms. Some have inner circles of groups to help out. Peoplein the bottom of the pump get paid about 5000 shares of whatever stock they promote. The top get about 200-500,000 shares.

It is not to hard to get companies to pay for the services as most want their stock to gain.

The big firms in my opinion do this all the time. CNBC and others just mention a stock and it does things. If you worked for CNBC or one of these firs do you think you would set back and not have a piece of any stock you promote. Brokers promote stocks to their followers and can see the price gain due to volume jumps and that makes them look good.

all this is just my humble, and stupid opinion.
