The market & media are ALWAYS behind in what's really happening in the field. You won't find out that CSCO's becoming marginalized until it's too late! I KNEW NT was going to clean up in the Optics & Wireless space due to their product/execution strenghth. I also know CSCO is going to have tougher time (not this quarter necessarily since I never make any predictions on a quarter-by-quarter basis) in the networking sector as the data networking INEVITABLY becomes network centric and pull applications/functionality off the edge/CPE space where CSCO has been cleaning up. CSCO better start making some serious inroad into the core of networks otherwise they will get marginalized and their stellar numbers will one day resemble LU's problems.
