Growing Up.....

If you think children understand the world you need to read some developmental psychology.>>

Children view the world through eyes that wonder, hearts that hope, believe and have faith and minds that can imagine possibilities wrapped in all their beautiful mysteries.

Children know and reflect the truth naturally. And when they look upon our world of "adult wisdom" it's no wonder they find it so complicated.

But "we" eventually beat complexity into them through the power we all have to define, label, restrict, judge, refract and limit ourselves and others in our world.

And the natural wide open awareness, happiness, wonder of life takes on a darker, narrower dynamic as we end up searching for meaning in the dark instead of embracing meaning in the light of risk.

Everyday is a challenge to somehow find a "way out" or back home to the happiness of our childhood. I view life as a wonderful adventure, full of blessings and things to be thankful for. I feel like a kid and wonder how this feeling could have ever left me.
