That was a great answer Bob. For all my years of trading I never understood very well how the internal structure of Canadian venture companies work. Because of the internet I am slowly learning. I feel pretty foolish.

I see what you are saying regarding ITF, still it is galling. But on the 1000% for PFN that was only because they hit more than they expected and PD took off. In another event only the people privy to cheap paper would have benefited. And they risked so much less.

Seems to me Canada needs to get its regulatory act in order; although maybe there is no practical answer given the nature of the beast. I think Kaiser speaks a lot to this issue. I think I will go back and reread some of his e-mails. In the last one he speaks to the demise of the CDNX. It also makes me think Vic might be right about PFN. I wonder if the CDNX can survive this practice, now because of the internet, the world will become aware of what goes on.

Thanks for the lesson. The problem for the average investor (around the world) is that it is difficult for them (us <g>)to know how this stuff works. And I can see where it will create great doubt in investors minds. Because one not only has to be right about the deposit, you also have to be right about the management's intentions.
