Will, I'm going to do some more DD's :) on this one" on that note, let me point out that you should make certain that the win2000 you are looking at is the stand alone, full version and not the product upgrade. the absolute easiest way to make this determination quickly and accurately is via the manufacturer's (microsoft) part number. B23-00079 is win2000 pro full version B23-00082 is win2000 pro upgrade your statement about price tipped me to the possibility of mixing the two up. i can see the upgrade maybe going for the $135 price, but the full version is at least +$100 more at online stores. ebay is altogether a different story... and i have no idea what anyone is selling (or getting) for what price on ebay. i've looked, but personally i won't purchase software on ebay. so watch the part number, mitch. if you got a pc without an os, the w2k upgrade will do you no good. :) mark
