Cirruslvr, What heatsink/fan are you using with your socket A processors?

Coolmaster. I ordered the board, processor, and heatsink/fan as a combo. The dealer tests the board before shipping and left heatsink/fan mounted. Heatsink/fan fits very securely, no tendency to rock whatsoever. The processor runs about 90F at standard 700 MHz. It gets in the neighborhood of 102F at 840MHz at room temp. no AC.

I played around with some 3D stuff this weekend and I've never seen my 3D games play so smoothly. The Tbird's on board cache really does the job. I've tried Descent 3 and Microsoft Flight Simulator 2000 pro. Graphics are very fluid, I was always getting shot in Descent 3 but the Tbird has got so much power for AI, graphics, and sound that it leaves plenty of power left for me to "kill instead of being killed". I love this processor and I love this MSI board. We got us a winner!

Kindest regards,
CrazyMan
