Thanks for your thoughts as always! I like the news lately and agree it should end the year higher. Although I could always turn on a dime, at this point I plan on holding ALA at least the next 2-3 years, unless it appreciates 1000% or something crazy like that<g>.

How 'bout those expansion plans mentioned in the previous article? A building a year for the next 10? Sounds pretty ambitious.

FWIW, I found this blurb regarding ALA memory purchases in an ALSC story recently...

In fact, its top customer in the June quarter was Alcatel, which accounted for over 7% of sales. In the preceding quarter, Alcatel only did a couple hundred thousand dollars worth of business with Alliance. Other top customers included 3Com, Pace, and General Instruments.

Good luck this week...hope we're not another sell on the news, though I believe downside can't be too bad (from the long term holder perspective) if markets were to sour badly. They're simply in the right place, with the right stuff, at the right time. Not hard to see growth in this company for a lot of years IMO.
