Dear Paul: Nope, I doubt he hangs out in S. Fla. but, I bet he shops in COSTCO somewhere in the World. Look Paul, I am as big an INTC fan as the next person and frankly it DOES mean something to me to have INTEL INSIDE on my case, BUT, my simple little comment was this? If someone can buy a 1 gigahertz processor, 60gbof HD, a CD-RW drive, a 19" monitor, among all the other goodies that come with such a high end system, for $2,499 do we feel a "Williamette" Pentium 4 (whatever) which is going to REQUIRE RDRAM so far as we know will be able to compete. Its one thing to cost a couple hundred more, its another if it costs $1,000 more. Frankly, I am worried that INTC may have boxed itself into a very elite corner with RAMBUS. JDN
