Paul,

And - let's not forget - where is the groundswell of SLudgeHumper hardware and software commitments from ISVs and developers?

These commitments worth less than a used toilet paper.

Didn't Intel commit to all these hardware and software venDors that Itanium would be released in 199? (you pick the year). What has happened to that commitment?

Oh yes, Microsoft had a "commitment" to deliver the 64 bit OS for Merced in 199? (again, you pick the year). FUD, FUD and more FUD.

Pity the companies that bet their businesses on the promise that Intel would deliver. Sun is laughing all the way to the bank.

Intel's earnings are increasing, their revenues are increasing, their volumes are increasing and their manufacturing capacity is increasing and their CPU performance is increasing.

AMD's earnings are increasing, their revenues are increasing, their volumes are increasing and their manufacturing capacity is increasing and their CPU performance is increasing.

Joe
