dennis,

I have never owned JDSU, but if I recall correctly didnt JDSU just digest another acquisition? I think that might have been part to do with the "death spiral". That and the fact that almost any high tech chart spiked in March and dropped into early April. From April to June, it was range bound from 75 to 100 (big range, but not for this sector). Then the breakout when the S&P saved the day. I feel strongly that when SDLI and JDSU is finished, the resulting company is going to be a must hold in the longer term.

Interesting action today, obviously options related. I think the larger caps NAZ stocks are more vulnerable than the mid to small caps in the near term (in the sectors that I think have the best potential of course). It is interesting though how when the market cracks the whip, it spares nothing...EXTR down 17, PWER was down 20 on a bad earnings print by the DJ, GLW down 40, INKT down 8. Enough to make my stomach turn if I owned any of them.

One little point, the Guilder report is out tomorrow, I wonder who is on the list..

Talk to you later...
