I guess it is just the two of us here. Anyway, my take for the majority of the stock, in order: stock split, purchase of another company, secondary offering. Balance of stock for options.
This is bullish if it shows that management expects continued strong earnings. However, of the above three possibilities, only a split could have a positive effect on the stock price. The other two would probably be seen as dilutive, depending on the specific terms. Since institutions own almost 75% of the stock, they will not vote for something that is not in their interests.
Anyway, in the final analysis, your guess is a good as mine. |
