Hi Frank, I've done the 4 miles on foot, but not at running speed. It was hard enough at a brisk walk! The walk's usually in Oct. and is for the benefit of Am. Cancer Society. There were several E-types at the Auction on Friday and Saturday night. Sold for reasonable prices, too. Meccum handled the auction. Racing went well and I managed to finish the Sunday race third in class and about last overall! It was an 8 lap race but I apparently only had my 6 lap brakes on the car! :-) Had a great race with an A-H 3000 and an XK150 Jag but had to back off after about 5 or 6 laps as the front brakes boiled the fluid. This race represented a decade of racing at Road America and was a fun event. I drove okay and the car came home undamaged. I've been hanging around R.A. since 1976 when I moved to Wisconsin. I remember those June Sprints and Can-Am race weekends quite vividly. Burnt up some Kodak photographing some fine ladies. Best regards, Tom
