Given that all major Gods have the power to make your life (literally) a living hell This would not meet my minimum requirements for a god, unless he/she/it elected to set an example of self-restraint by having the power and not using it, which obviates the point of having the power in the first place. Hmmmm. I don't think power over individual creatures is a good thing in a god. Karen
