Hi CAtech,

Never underestimate the power of FUDDD (Fear, Uncertainty, Doubt, Deceit & Disinformation), particularly with so many Billion$ at stake & certain companies with highly profitable legacy systems (via huge royalty rates) wishing to maintain their power to extract their pounds of flesh. I hope the bottom is in, but until the cloud over QCOM is cleared, I cannot be convinced there is not further downside. I like how QCOM has acted since the earnings report & CC, but there is still confusion & inaccurate info being reported wrt QCOM in news stories even today. The blatant FUDDD has been quieted of late too, but that doesn't mean it is gone. It may just be their quiet period to let the QCOM CC & PR's fade from memory. If/when the FUDDD gears back up, the potential exists for more downside IMHO.

I'm still sold on QCOM's long term potential. IMO, QCOM is undervalued when you look at the wireless industry & how these companies are valued. They are a low debt, high cash company with high margin products & services & IPR & employ the best R&D to create a time to market advantage with upgrades/next generation CDMA. Even if they don't dominate the wireless sector & become a WinTel for wireless, they will be a significant player.

BWDIK

P.S. The NAZ has accelerated to the downside - 109. QCOM is holding steady to slightly down at this time..... not too shabby
