Tench,
I was just wondering If Intel is defraying any of the extra costs of RDRAM by cutting Dell a good deal on either CPUs or i820 motherboards?

So if Dell is paying $300 for 128k RDRAM what are they paying for 128k SDRAM? $70?, $80?, $90?
Do Dells RAMBUS units have the same margins as their similarly configured SDRAM units?
How tight is the agreement between RAMBUS and Intel concerning Intel not being able to make a DDR chipset?
Irregardless of Intel...it leaves a bad taste in my mouth to see RAMBUS try and ram their memory down everyones throats...but it appears that it's not so easy for Intel to ditch it...
Who signed these agreements at Intel?

Jim
