IBM's Nintendo PowerPC might yet be under this year's XMAS tree Nintendo's (Tokyo) Space World 8/24 is "Dolphin's" rumored announcement date : dailyradar.com Last year it was expected to be worth $1 bln to IBM : zdnet.com Wonder if IBM's Via Voice or hard disk storage will eventually make it worth more ? Probably not from Nintendo directly , who plans DVD I/O , but the rumor includes a internet hookup called "Staroad". If Kodak and others use/add IBM's new mini disk with a similar PowerPC device , it could be the basis for much more IBM revenue: yahoo.cnet.com Nintendo's last news on the Dolphin deferred it until 2001 so this is speculation . Interesting that Nintendo never revealed the exact reason for the delay. Jim K.
