I attended the annual meeting last week. There is no earthshaking news to report. However, Sreeni did say that customers have about 15 projects in phase 2 and 3 trials and one project has completed its phase 3 trial. That company is expected to apply for FDA approval later this year. If all goes well, I suspect there may be some pre-launch orders associated with that drug in another 6-9 months. NZYM has repeatedly said not to expect much in the first two quarters of this fiscal year. Hopefully that means that they are expecting business to pick up in the second half. Regardless of the timing of the next big orders, NZYM is really cheap now. The plant upgrades are finished, there is no debt, and the staff has been beefed up. The infrastructure is in place to support significant growth. I am still confident that it will happen, and that those who are patient will be rewarded.
