Atlanta update. During the RadioWallStreet interview today, CFO Wall said that Atlanta will light up next Monday (July 31). He also said that six more cities will begin by end of September. It was not clear, but I gathered the other four, of the twelve originally scheduled for end of September, may be subject to some delay but are expected to be operational later this year. Which will open and which will be delayed were not identified, except for NYC, NYC is encountering some Right of Way (ROW) problems with a Long Island regulatory authority. Recently MCOM initiated legal proceedings against that unit. I am not aware of any other difficulties in the NYC projected coverage area. Some Long Island municipalities have agreed to ROW. The CFO indicated that the ROW problems, some of which may involve other cities, are in the process of being resolved. In addition, but also not entirely clear, the remaining nine, of the twenty-one scheduled for roll out before the end of 2000, seem to be on schedule.
