The only credit I will give Washington comes from Fiscal responsibility in the form of the Balanced Budget Amendment originally proposed by R. Perot (1992)and adopted and passed by the Republican house and senate (1994). Because of it's immense support from the voters it gave Clinton no choice but to sign it.....If you recall the mere act of doing this is what set the stage for Greenspan to do his thing....as he was ecstatic about the prospects of such. . .
