Went to the bank yesterday to check out I bonds. You can only buy 30,000. a year. The rate is only for 6mos than is adjusted for inflation up or down for the next 5 years. If you take out early there is a 3 month penalty. Sounds like alot to do for nothing. I am going to check CD prices today, does anybody know a bank paying good interest? I sold alot of my postions yesterday, just could not stand losing profit anymore so I took them. Hg48
