Holy cow did I just get the jar of my life. I thought I would pass it on in case I am not the only one who didn't know this. I bought 10 short term puts on RMBS last week. I was going to be golfing Friday and felt that there was more downside to RMBS so I called Ameritrade to see what would happen if I just let them expire. They told me they would sell anything that was more then 3/4 of a point in the money. These were more then that, so off to golf I go. I look this morning to find that they exercised them leaving me short 1k shares. That worked fine for yesterday, but I use puts because RMBS is way to scary a stock to be short when it can make 30 point moves in a day. I will fix that this morning, but WOW! Jeff Roberts
