Elmer, How much software out there will take advantage of the new architecture? In fact, what operating system will AMD use? Windows running any multithreaded application should see a big performance boost on Sledgehammer. The cool thing about Sledge is that the software support requirements are probably minimal. Windows probably just needs to understand that there are two processors. Full 64 bit support will require a much larger effort, but the 64 bit nonsense is mostly a marketing bullet. Scumbria
