On a different note, I was in Colorado and noticed that AT&T is using MOT's settop boxes in an upgrade of the systems in Snowmass. The network is not apparently two-way because a phone line was required for the installation. This reminds me of two points that I may have heard before: -- AT&T is not using SFA exclusively -- The MOT boxes are not geared for two-way networks I thought that AT&T was buying into cable as an end-run around the baby bells for the last mile. This is clearly a disappointing observation about AT&T and their visions for the future.
