NEW YORK, Jul 25, 2000 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- QUALCOMM Spinco, Inc., a wholly-owned
subsidiary of QUALCOMM Incorporated (Nasdaq:QCOM), which will be comprised
primarily of QUALCOMM's integrated circuit and system software solutions
business, today announced that it has filed a registration statement with the
Securities and Exchange Commission for an initial public offering of its Common
Stock. All of the shares are being offered by QUALCOMM Spinco, Inc.

Lehman Brothers and Goldman, Sachs & Co. are lead managers for the offering. The
public offering will be made only by means of a prospectus which, when
available, may be obtained by contacting the underwriters:
