QCOM/SPINCO: a large positive, in terms of the recent molestation of QCOM shares by smaller Houses on the Street; Dr. Jacobs has chosen the most influential House, Goldman Sachs, to underwrite. This means that the heaviest hitter is now looking out for the interests of QCOM, et al.
This is the best choice of all possibilities, IMHO, and the fudmeisters with have to deal with the big boys now.

Also, QCOM is now much more similar to the ARMHY business model, a fabless IPR concern. Another positive, IMO.
Thanks to all the regulars for timely, incisive analysis of the new developments.
Regards,
James
