At the end of the news conference, Steve Aultman(??) said something to the effect that companies that received earlier licenses will be rewarded compared to companies that licensed late." I see this whole thing as very negative for Nokia -- they just waited too late. Now they will have to X-license with Spinco and also deal with QCOM who will still want 5% royalty. Then there is the future question of a Spinco that is tightly controlled by Jacobs now but could at some time be merged with an Intel creating a chip monster.
