Let me reiterate again.

Intel counts revenue only after shipments OUT of distribution.

NOT when it ships products to distribution.

You are correct that everybody else does this.

What Intel does that is unusual is as follows:

Disti sales are fed into a corporate account.

After credits and rebates etc sales are allocated to the biz units.

Several folks questioned this a few quarters ago as it seemed to show some real channel stuffing by intel.

But the fundamental point is that intel is managing disclosure this way to obfuscate.
