i'm just an average hacker who love the game. the usga commercial with that one guy waiting for the monsoon to pass over could be me...-g- pine valley probably just doesn't set up well for a pro tournament...not enough space for people/parking/etc....and the course is not quite long enough. heck, the slope may be outrageous, but the pros probably just drive the green. baltusrol has the amateur coming up next month...never been there...but i may try to go for a day. should be fun. golf has so many nuances and challenges that vary from one course to another....perhaps that's why many of us are so enamored with the game.
