I have owned Dell's since 1995, this is the first bad experience.

The problem happened again last night, on the phone till 1 AM with tech support, and tech support has no idea (5 different techs), so I am sending it back tomorrow, Dell said they will pick up the cost for shipping.

Going to be nice having my old system back Dell P2 450.

I'll wait till spring before I pick up another one, by that time the P4 will be out, and hopefully they have what ever bugs worked out of the systems and provide better drivers when you do a clean install of the OS. The Dell resource CD was 9 months old.

It only acts up on a clean install of Win98SE, registry errors, even after a clean install, once the ATA Ultra drivers were loaded, major problems with the registry being damaged, runs fine without the drivers, but you need the drivers to get optimal performance.
