FWIW - ULBI specs

ultralifebatteries.com

Charging:
Charge at a constant current at C/2. Hold at 4.15V until current declines to C/10.
Safety:
Built-in PTC. Meets UL Tests. Because the contents are solid, Polymer cells cannot leak. They are also safe if opened, as no metallic lithium is present. In addition, Polymer cells are extremely resistant to abuse from over-charging and discharging.

Note the precise 4.15V charge voltage. These must be Co-based ULBI cells, tolerant of over-charging, yes, but not of over-voltage conditions during the charge cycle. For these reasons we should be glad VLNC has stayed with the Mn-based formula, especially considering the heightened safety issues with larger format cells. All IMHO.
