"What's your answer for the people of Iraq? What should the US do? Do we need a more trusted leader?"

I don't think you will see a more trusted leader surfacing if we were to get Saddam removed. It is most likely that a similar personality from the same regime would assume power. The people of the region don't like each other and would not be likely to band together to confront Saddam. There are good people who are trusted by the masses in the Middle East; they, however, often end up imprisoned by the tyrants. If someone were to surface as you've suggested, I think it might cause a great deal of paranoia in the West. It's a catch 22 really.

What should the US do? Get out. I know there would be problems among the Persian stakeholders (the US being one of them). Lets at least deal with that from an honest, straight forward and moral position.

What's the answer...beats me. However, injustice and greed for oil greed is an unacceptable approach.
