Which problem? Recent DDR, DRDRAM an PC133 benchmarks indicate that high bandwidth memory is not generally needed for CPU performance.

Then I guess there's no need for a consortium. Did you want to send them an e-mail to let them know, or should I?

p.s. "what problem they were going to solve" was their terminology, not mine, I believe.

p.p.s. Did we ever decide if it was okay if ST Micro sued Atmel to protect their patents? Didn't hear back from you.
